World renowned marine artist Robert Wyland painted this whale mural in Bundaberg’s CBD back in 1990. Unfortunately, it is fading fast. Not an omen for the plight of whales I hope. Some people have suggested that the Bundaberg Council should have it restored. I suppose the arguments could go on forever about such matters. It is a form of graffiti, so maybe it needs to be ephemeral anyway. All things must pass?
