Another archival doodling sketch, early Circa 1990s. I am going through my archival art containers and gleaning out all my past unpublished artworks. I haven’t tried this fast scribble style for some time – will have to give it another try soon. Intriguing. It seems to tap into some part of the subconscious, as though the hand works in isolation from the brain. I went through a short phase of it in the 1990s. Perhaps it also correlates to the quick 1 minute drawings done at the beginning of Life Drawing classes – and gets the mind into gear for the session’s drawing.
