Life Drawing at the Sunshine Coast resumed today, for one day at least. There might also be a session next Thursday, but being Australia day, that may not happen. But it was good to get back into it, after the break. I find it almost like starting again each week, even without a month or so off, over the Silly Season.
Life Model Janet didn’t do her usual burlesque-esque build-up, starting with crazy apparel. She just got straight into the traditional life modelling no-clothes routine. I was pleased with a few of my works for the morning. If I get at least one per session that I like, I am happy. The image featured here is a 5 minute sketch. My usual unorthodox oil-pastels and 2B pencil on A3 paper.
