I’ll miss my double bass, but it had to go. No room for it in my new (little) house. But I had to replace it with something. So I picked up this wee Aria fretless bass for a song. Loved the feel of it in the shop, and the sound. Acoustic/electric. So I can pick it up anytime and not have to always plug it in. And I love the fretless sound.

Only thing is, it will never be as good a prop for the visual arts. Such as this photo of the beautiful Sophia and my (ex) double bass. I took this shot about a year ago. Please search “Sophia” on this site for many more.
