One of my all time favourite photos in my archive files.
The setting was the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery Artist-in-Residence apartment. I lived there for 6 weeks after the 2013 Bundaberg flood swamped my house. The gallery offered me the apartment until my place was fixed. And rent free, so good of them. Was a bitter-sweet time, having my house inundated and most of my goods and chattels destroyed. Yet, a memorable time at the apartment, right in the CBD, and on the first floor above one of the main streets. Then there were great times like this, a photo shoot with Deb. Obvious I guess, the plant was not real, which maybe sums up the feeling back then. After that flood, nothing seemed real for some time.
