I love this painting by Guest Artist Karen Roberts (from Brisbane, Q. Australia).

Rather than my raving on about her, here is a short bio in her own words: 

“I’ve been a practising artist for 30 years and during that time my works have been added to collections and featured in numerous  publications. I paint and sculpt and I’m passionate about creating one-off pieces of jewellery. My sculptures are mostly assemblage and I love creating with old and found bits and pieces.

Throughout the years I’ve exhibited collaboratively and solo and I’ve won awards for some of  my works. Creating is my life , and I live surrounded with colour and things I’ve collected whilst travelling.”
