I threw a bed sheet onto my black leather sofa, when sorting some washing. I looked back, and saw this image, so took the shot.

It had been a long time trying to get inspired, after severe spine trauma from seizures about 2 years ago. After many failed attempts to “Find My Muse” again, I gave up trying to create a work just to suit an audience; just to impress. So I decided to just “reach inside myself,” and get back to my roots, my childhood, and go for it, and paint like a child. This one is for me. I had a red wine to celebrate after I painted “The Painted Ones.” I love it.

I think decay and squalor do a better job at graffiti art than try-hard humans.  The latter is just more of the same: Pollution.  I don’t want to walk up an alley and see yet another annoying mural. I want to see something like this. Keep it on your canvas, please.

These images were taken in a rainforest at the Sunshine Coast, Q. Australia. What an amazing setting. The wall is a remnant from various old railway structures, from when the rail line used to go through there. The light was also amazing, just sneaking through the tree canopy. NO Photoshop, or AI.

This serendipitous Lady was waiting in my new glasses case as I opened it, and took out the glasses: The cleaning cloth, photo taken in situ, just as I found it (with black background of case).
