“ON THE BRINK” opens this Friday (3rd Oct 2014) at Gatakers Artspace, Maryborough (Qld), at 6.30pm. All welcome – wine and nibblies available. Meet & chat to the artists if you like. We all travelled together in a few cars to set this up. Well, to deliver the work and do the basics – to sort out which works will go where etc. Thought we would have trouble filling the walls, but no, we were very short of space, as we over-estimated – so had to decide which art works to be hung. There are about 8 of us in the group, but 6 contributing to this exhibition. We meet once a fortnight – usually at the beach – to paint en pleine air, drink coffee, and chat. And also do the odd exhibition, like this one. We always have a great time. On this day we had a nice lunch at a nearby café, after the art works were sorted.
