To me, this is one of my best photos. It was serendipitous, just fell into my lap as I was walking along. I feel that it has it all: the narrative from Krucifixion to tomb; and to steps indicating rebirth and escape from the tomb (if you believe that old story). Oh yes, and then there’s Kmart. A metaphor for the True Religion, as it always has been. Nothing much has changed since Ancient Roman times, really.
