In a previous post, I called this painting Red Nude. Maybe that is almost right. Nude, naked, stripped bare, Perfection. It was painted in about 20 seconds, just as a demo painting for another post on this site (scroll down). It does not actually mean Perfection in Japanese. This symbol came right out of my head. After I executed it quickly (for some reason, I feel the term “executed” is the right one), without any conscious thought, I thought it looked perfect. In my eyes, this is the best painting I have ever done. Perfection.
