I am amazed at the light in that house, and how it responds rather uniquely to the basic teal colour of the walls. No AI or Photoshop, as with all my artworks (unless indicated in rare cases). Just the usual brightness, contrast and cropping.

I called this painting The Lost Scream, as though it were one of Munch’s lost versions of the famous painting. It was a 15 minute job (obviously). I started by copying the original (“The Scream”), but got quickly bored, and almost gave up. I can’t stand copying. So I put the photo of the original away, and did my own thing, and enjoyed the process. I found my inner Munch. It was painted for a “Famous Forgeries” night at a cafe, to raise money for charity. Six artists raised $1,000 in a secret auction.
A great night, with nibblies and local wine sold, from the local vineyard at Childers (Australia). A guy age 30 bought mine above, and he was stoked that he got it by a dollar more than another offer. I was flattered he bought it. Other artists contributed various other copies of world famous works.
