“DENNIS MEALOR – A RETROSPECTIVE – AGE 6 TO 62”
Opening Night for my Art Exhibition at Moncrieff Entertainment Centre (Moncrieff Theatre), Bundaberg, Australia. Photos and also some stills from a short clip, in vivid movie blur-o-scope. As they say in the classics, ” a good night was had by all.” Lots of good folk turned up, despite an impending cyclone and possible resulting flood headed our way. But as the local mayor said on the news later, “Bundaberg dodged a bullet.”
Unfortunately, Yeppoon up north copped the brunt of it, and Rockhampton – major damage. So my thoughts to all Yeppooners and Rockhamptonians atm. Please hang in there, until life returns to normal
But back to the art night – many thanks to Bronte Morris, the Entertainment Manager (I think that is her title, d’oh) at Moncrieff, and to the little art group The Brag Trade that I am a member of, for all their support. Bronte is a new artistic force to town – not an artist, but an Art Angel, who I am sure will stir this town up artistically for the better.
Big thanks to all who made it to the night, considering the ominous weather event about to happen.
