SEEN ON THE REAR OF AN OLD TOYOTA ON A FARM AT YANDARAN (NEAR BUNDABERG, AUSTRALIA).

Abstract in Rust. But is it art? Maybe. If so, was it art before anyone noticed it? Or photographed it? I believe it is (art). Because of those reasons. I have drawn a line around it (so to speak), with my photograph, and my cropping. Essentially, framed it. Placed it into the context of “Art.” But (arguably), it could also be art without all that – if I (or someone) decided that was their art, even without any ‘framing.’ The Art/not Art debate gives me a headache at the best of times. But I like to keep harping on about it. Most people would just call it rust. And rightly so.
