I met Sylvia in an Op-Shop yesterday in Cooroy, Queensland (Australia). She was there, along with a whole group of other non-talking heads (on a shelf). Sylvia was not left on the shelf though. Apparently she attends to the women’s clothing section. And was ok about my taking a few photos of her – unlike art galleries. ‘No Photography’ the art gallery signs usually say. Have been told why, but still not sure why. Copyright and all that. Flash is bad for the paint or something (but who uses flash?). Art gallery rules, yawn. The Op Shop has no such rules. Sylvia is fine with it all. Likes a bit of attention. Pretty gal. Alouf as. But pretty. Nice eyes. Marvellous lips.
