I am finding my old art archives lately, since I moved to the Buderim area a few weeks ago. Old containers are being opened after some decades. Many are just doodlings on A4 typing paper, like this one. I can remember doing this scribble style for a short while. Then no more. As I remember, it was quite enlightening to do, so am not sure why I did not continue. The technique was to just ‘go for it’ very quickly, and scribble with an idea in mind (usually a human figure, in my case). The method seemed to have a great tolerance for error. The hands seemed to know what they were doing, even if my conscious mind did not. I must try this again, soon.
