The latest in my River & Sea series (with detail, below), just completed today (50cm x 40cm – acrylic & mixed media on canvas).
All of the River & Sea paintings are similar, but different if that makes sense. That is, no two are alike. Lately, this is a recurring scene for me – originally based on a visit to Mon Repos beach near Bundaberg, where the little creek runs almost parallel to the beach at one section. These scenes are imaginary places where I can go in my mind. Places of solitude and peace.
