The weeks come around so quickly. Herewith model Janice and her tutu, from this week’s Life Art session. Thought I would not like the tutu, but I did. The local art group thus far (since I joined a  month or so ago) has had mainly seated, or reclining poses from the models. This is because many of the artists there use paint, and tend to go for the longer poses, to create finished works. I am more into the fast and furiousness of drawing with my oil pastels and pencils. So I prefer the shorter poses. But there is to be a meeting soon, to throw in some new ideas.  On the agenda are shorter poses (5 to 10 minutes). It is all a democratic process, so we will see, and be happy with however it goes (click on images to enlarge).
