THE JOYS OF VISUAL IMPAIRMENT.

I kid you not. Last week I had a good look all around the annual Bundaberg Art Prize, and passed this young woman looking at a painting. I went past, then later came back and she was still there, staring intently. I turned back and said, “I think you need to buy that painting.” Then I realised she was a mannequin. Lucky no-one heard me. It made me laugh to myself at least.

The Bundaberg Art prize is held annually in Bundaberg, Q. Australia, with $20,000 worth of prize money total, and held in a pop-up vacant shop situation each year. Always a great event. (Photo: copyright Dennis Mealor 2022).
