Finally broke the “canvas block” and splashed on some paint. A long way to go though.
I have had the canvas block for some time. Bought this quite large canvas weeks ago, and have been putting it on the easel regularly, and staring at it. Here ’tis in my super spacious bathroom/art studio. The canvas is just over 1 metre x 1.5 metres. Any wider and I would not be able to get to my loo without climbing under it. At least the bathroom keeps the acrylics pretty damp so I can move paint around before it dries. It is the best place to paint, as the walls are bright and give even light for my crappy eyesight – since having only 10% light getting to my brain via the optic nerves, nice even light is best these days. Will post the results as I continue.
