Took this pic today. Near my unit is a park right next to the river. I often walk there  before dusk when the day has begun to cool. Always take my compact camera, and grab a few shots. Flaneur Foto-art as I call it – but I guess everyone does it now without even thinking.  With their phones (fones?) or iPads, whatever. I still prefer a camera – and while they are still available to buy, always will. My compact gets me more pics than my digital SLR, because it is always there with me. The SLR is more like a boat anchor to lug around. The compact also handles low light situations better. No Photoshop as is my usual. I will use it to obscure identities i.e.for practical reasons. But for artistic reasons, I am allergic to it.
