Sophia is a regular life model at Art Plus in Bundaberg (Australia). Here is one of my stylised drawings of her, from last Thursday night. It is a great night out for just $15. For that you get: model (male or female); pizza at half time; and red or white wine. Google Art Plus Bundaberg and come along. All you need is a sketch pad and some pencils/pastels or whatever. It is a friendly bunch of artists – absolute beginners and experienced alike. It is untutored, so you just turn up and do your thing. And no-one need see your work. Basically, just have a go. And learn a lot by trial and error. As we all do.
