Beautiful rainforest near where I live at Forest Glen (Sunshine Coast hinterland, Australia), about to be plundered for a townhouse development. A $90 million venture that seems incongruous to the area. Housing some 800 people. Yes, I know, people have to live somewhere. But in a rainforest? I have seen the promotional photos. It will be a concrete jungle. People will buy in, just to be near nature. Except, not much of Nature will be left standing. Odd, how we destroy the very reason we move there.
