Aah memories – Going through old paintings I had forgotten about – and were done long before the Internet, Blogs or Facebook. The subjects in this acrylic are my lifelong friend/artist/Uni lecturer Dan Armstrong (sunnies) and my two great lads Scott and Sean (now in their very early 30s). The beach? If I recall correctly, Mon repos beach near Bundaberg – home of the largest turtle rookery in the Southern hemisphere, and also where pioneer aviator Bert Hinkler tested out his early planes.
